The objects you live with should feel considered,
natural, and built to last.

Thornbush Woodcraft is grounded in a simple idea, good design should feel connected to where it comes from.

The work is design-led, with a focus on balance, form, and restraint. Clean lines meet organic material. Precision meets unpredictability. The result is a collection that feels considered, but never overworked.

Wood with a past,
shaped for the present.

Reclaimed wood carries a history… marks, grain, and subtle imperfections that speak to a past life.
Rather than removing that character, it’s embraced.

Based in Ōtautahi Christchurch, each piece is shaped from native NZ or locally grown timber, with a strong focus on reclaiming and up-cycling.

No two pieces are the same. The grain shifts, the markings change, and the story within the timber remains visible. What you’re left with is something that feels real—grounded, tactile, and enduring.

Thornbush Woodcraft exists for homes that value natural material and thoughtful design. For people who notice detail. For those drawn to objects that carry a sense of place.
